POST INDICATOR WITH GATE VALVE
PIV is the indicator-type control valve installed on the underground firefighting water pipe, and the post has a window to easily verify the OPEN / CLOSE state of the valve.
Field installation is very simple and economic. Lever-type, Gear-type and Hatch-type of valves are available.

Model SL-701G
The L-type square lever mounted on top is
used for Open/Close. OPEN state is maintained
normally, but when requiring maintenance,
the mounted L-type lever is inserted into
the square wrench part to CLOSE.
It is manufactured to insert the L-type lever
to match the upper square wrench part and
side EYE Bolt for sealing.
Model SL-701L
Reduction gear is applied for convenient
Open/Close. The method of use is same as
the lever-type, and instead of the lever,
the gear wheel is turned for Open/Close,
so the operation is smooth for convenience
in use. It is appropriate for use on large-size
valve or cast steel valve of 14 inches or higher
with great load from the water pressure.
Model SL-701H
When installing in the garden or roadside,
it can be installed in coincidence with the
ground, and the hatch cover is opened and
T-handle is used for Open/Close.
The method of use is same as the lever-type
except for opening and closing the L-lever
with T-handle. There is no protruding part
on the upper side, and the cover can be
closed and nut fastened after use.
GATE VALVE FOR POST INDICATOR MODEL SL-701V
The main body of the valve for Post Indicator is in ductile material to have the inside and outside with epoxy resin powder coating to have excellent body strength and corrosion-resistance. The Disk is in ductile material with frontal rubber lining forming to be applied with two-way sealing function for excellent corrosion-resistance and prevention of leakage.
POST & VALVE Assembly Method
1. Check whether the valve disk is completely open.
2. The square wrench part on the top of the post is turned
counter-clockwise to check whether the open indication
of the winder is in the center.
3. The square wrench on the bottom of the post is inserted into the upper part of the axis on the valve, and the flange hole of the post and the Bolt Hole of the valve base are
matched to be fastened with the Bolt.
* POST is basically separated with the VALVE for supply. TAMPER SWITCH mount-type is completely opened with the valve, and the Switch is open contact state to be supplied.
